We live in a society, still, where menstruation is not a normal biological phenomenon but a cause for shame instead; where education and jobs simply aren't meant for all genders; where motherhood is the ultimate goal of a woman's life, but without a husband, the ultimate bane; where dark skin and weight are as undesirable as a visible bra strap. 

This series of alphabets, then, uses the ever-so-familiar voice of the quintessential Indian “auntyji”, as a relatable representation of our society, and a woman's life growing up and growing old in it.
